AFRICA SCHOOLHOUSE PRIMARY SCHOOL COMPLEX

NTULYA, TANZANIA

On Site Designer and Construction Manager

The site design was conceptually based on a traditional Sukuma village layout of clustered dwellings. The buildings are constructed with mud fired bricks and designed to provide natural illumination to the interior space since electricity is not available in this region of Tanzania. Each classroom is differentiated by an educational mural on the front of the building.
